The Aim of the business:
MY partner and i created a motivational booklet packed with speeches and quotes. We aim to raise enough money so that we can print these motivational booklets and give to those who desperately need it, such as the underprivileged and people who may be going through a difficult time. By doing this we aim to make a difference in the community and promote the idea of helping those who need it. The money we raise goes solely towards printing of these motivational booklets and giving them away for free.

Forgiveness

When i was much younger i had a very abusive father. I experience physical and emotional abuse. My life as a child was very difficult because i feared coming home from school. When at home i tried to do everything right but nothing i seemed to do helped, he continued to abuse me whether i was good or bad. Growing up was not easy and when i was diagnosed with epilepsy things started going downhill. 9 Years later, to this day me and my father have a good relationship and we are on an even keel. That begs the question, what happened? Forgiveness happened. I sat and though long and hard and after a few weeks i made the decision to forgive my father for what he did to me. It wasn't easy and it never will be, but forgiving someone takes heart and shows your real character. Forgiveness is the key to becoming a better person and role model. If you have no one to forgive, then preach to people the importance of forgiveness.

Turning failure into success
Sometimes you need to fail in order to succeed. Getting to where you want and what you want is generally never going to be easy. Sometimes you might fail. Frailer doesn’t mean you should give up. Look at failure as constructive criticism. Failing could be a good thing too; you can now look at what you did wrong and improve on it immensely. Failure can push you, and make you want to do better. Don’t look at failure as a negative but as a positive to better yourself and strive for higher excellence. You are capable, you are strong, be the change and work for what you want. Rather than fear the bumps in the road, tackle them with a positive attitude and a strong mind set.

Guidance
By now all of you know my story briefly, and what I have went through, such as I was diagnosed with epilepsy and for 9 years I have been through it all. The reason why today I haven’t had one epileptic fit in almost a year is not only because of my change in attitude and lifestyle, but also the people who are around me that guided me on the right path. Through this very tough time my friends and family helped me. Not by buying me things and getting me what I wanted, but by being there for me through thick and thin and showing the support and love that I desperately needed. Whatever you may be going through, such as battling a disease or not coping at work, Talk to someone, seek help from your loved ones and friends. Having people around you when you are going through a very tough time can provide that closure and care that you perhaps needed deep down. Together is better.

Working hard can be a good thing
A goal you wish to achieve in life may not be easy to obtain, but at times you need to push yourself. Pushing yourself means to work hard and working hard on your goals or anything in life is a good advantage to have. Although pushing yourself to obtain something you want can be a good thing, you sometimes need to take things step by step to build your foundation as solid as rock. If needed start up slow and work hard towards what you want. Visualize it and go for it.

My story
Hi there my name is pecasen naidoo and I would like to share my side of the coin with you. I am 24 years old and I am an epileptic patient. When I was 14 years old I was diagnosed with epilepsy. I used to get 6-8 epileptic fits a day. Things were hard and life was a struggle. Everyday day was a challenge, and I was faced with bullying constantly. It was not just physical bullying but also emotional bullying. This all put me in a state of extreme depression. School work became almost impossible to do and eventually my mother had to do most of it. Unfortunately there was no other option but to drop out of school. I had to visit the hospital regularly for tests, and the results were increasingly negative. The doctors finally concluded I had to have a brain surgery. The results of the surgery were note satisfactory and there wasn’t much improvement. For 1 month I couldn’t walk or let alone wash myself. Nurses had to wash me and I had to walk with a walker, but I’m not here to tell you my life story I am here to tell you that to this day I haven’t had 1 epileptic fit in almost a year. Now you must be thinking how after all I have been through? It’s simple, perseverance and never giving up is the key. I never gave up and with God’s help today I am running every day, doing 30 pushups and 50 sit ups every morning. Not giving up seems like something everyone says all the time but it’s not just a saying it’s a fact. Be the person you strive to be, and even if threes speed bumps in your path drive over them. This is your life. Live it.
