POSITION SUMMARY: Minute Taker – Fixed Term Contract (6 months)
Provide Minute-Taking Services which includes full minute-taking of all committee meetings within the Council including Board Meetings up to the stage of authorisation and signature. Maintaining of meeting schedules and decision registers. Assist on an ad hoc basis with preparation of meeting documents. Must ensure the strictest of confidence.

Duties include the following, but not limited to:
• Full minute taking function and compilation of minutes for all committee meetings including Board meeting from recordings and in a live environment. Preparation, updating and correction of minutes to the stage of submission for signature.
• Timeous completion and distribution of minutes.
• Compilation of Action Items and compilation and/or updating of Decision Register.
• Maintenance of Meeting Schedule.
• Documentation is treated in the strictest of confidence.
• Ensure safe storage of all Bargaining Council confidential documents and data (hard copies and electronic).
• Perform a back-up function for PA/Committee-Coordinator on ad hoc basis as directed by the CEO.
Requirements:
• Education: Grade 12 / Matric
• Experience: 2-4 years of related experience in an office environment.
• Experience and/or Secretarial diploma in Minute taking.
• Own transport and the availability to attend physical meetings in Johannesburg and occasionally in Pretoria, as scheduled.
• Must pay attention to detail.
• Excellent typing skills with speed and accuracy
• Excellent minute taking skills.
• Ability to enter data accurately and check and correct errors.
• Ability to prioritize tasks according to importance in a fast-paced environment.
• Multi-tasking capability without compromising on quality.
• Must be proficient in handling office equipment including laptops, printers, photocopy machines, fax machines etc.
• Knowledge of Zoom and Microsoft Applications, specifically MS Word and Excel.
• Willingness to work after hours as may be required by the operation of the business.

Salary: R15 600 CTC. Per month.

Our client, specializing in the labour relations industry in the Roodepoort region, is seeking a Receptionist, who would fit in well with their dynamic team.
Duties include the following, but not limited to:
• Receiving of all visitors to the office
• Assisting with visitor and telephonic queries
• Operate the switchboard effectively, take messages and follow up on calls if necessary
• Ensure that calls are screened to ensure prompt resolution
• Check incoming faxes/mail daily and refer them to the correct person
• Check emails daily and answer external and internal emails
• General office duties: Filing, faxing, printing, distribution of mail
• Ensuring that the reception area is clean and tidy always

Requirements:
• Grade 12

Our client, a Non-Profit Organization for the aged, is seeking a (Registered Nurse – frail care) for their facility, based in Port Elizabeth Central. The Registered Nurse is a member of the Health Care team and is responsible to plan and manage the wards under the direction and supervision of the Facility Manager/Sister Superior. You will be required to deliver competent, quality nursing care and adhere to the rules and regulations of the South African Nursing Council.
Key Performance Areas
• Ensure a current plan of care for each resident according to the current resident needs and documented Policies & Procedures, as well as the updating thereof as the needs of the resident changes.
• Report changes in resident’s care to the Nursing Services Manager, as well as documenting in the resident’s file.
• Ongoing resident assessment, care plan and core evaluation.
• Manage, order, check and supervise safe medication administration.
• Ensure strict control of Schedule 5, 6 and 7 drugs.
• Ensure the physical, social, and physiological well-being of residents which includes the regular monitoring of their health and treatment.
• Perform the required nursing procedures which fall within the scope of a Professional Nurse/Registered Nurse.
• Assist residents with their physical and mental health.
• Ensure that there is strict control and documentation is recorded and kept in the event of accidents, incidents, and injuries on duty.
• Ensure that the hygiene of the resident is maintained at highest level.
• Manage, support, assist and supervise that allocated caregivers deliver the highest standard of care, on a shift – to shift – basis.
• Assist staff with training and furthering their knowledge within their chosen field.
• Assist and supervise caregivers with delivery of resident’s clinical care needs.
• Maintain effective communication with all team leaders.
• Monitors resident’s daily menu requirements to ensure dietary needs and preferences are communicated directly to the catering staff.
• Participate in continuing professional development and compulsory education.
• Promote independence and mobility of residents.
• Counsel and advise residents and family.
• Performs any other tasks as reasonably requested.

Requirements:
• Matric
• Diploma in Nursing
• Registration with SANC.
• Proof of professional indemnity.
• Certificate in Geriatric Nursing – highly advantageous.
• Dementia experience essential
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar environment
• Day Shift leader
