Please join us either 12 or 13 May for our first in-person workshop. 🥳

Let’s start the discussion on why leaving high school and entering into adulthood seems so challenging for autistic individuals and their families and caregivers. Let’s discuss the coping behaviors that autistic teens and young adults can exhibit and ways to support them and everyone else in their family or community.

Get the early bird discount if you register by 30 April. We look forward to seeing you.

Parent Support Group of Autistic Teens and Young Adults (16-25)

Self-care is something we are all aware of and often times don't practice. In order to take care of your family's needs you need to take care of yourself first. Our first parent support meeting of 2023 will focus on this topic and also share some tips and strategies on how to make self-care a daily habit. Please sign up as space is limited. We look forward to seeing you.

What are Executive Skills and why are they so very important to autistic teens and young adults?
Executive Skills are the skills needed to perform or execute a task. They play a role in everything we do all day long to manage our behavior, organize our day, schedule our time, and get our tasks done efficiently and correctly. These are skills that are more than academic abilities and, once strengthened, help an individual to regulate behavior, promote self-sufficiency, help to problem solve and self-advocate. Join us for an introduction to this fascinating aspect of development. See flyer attached.
