In 1995 Robert Cockrell founded our father Company “Robert Cockrell cc” and provided various services to the Food and Beverage Industry. In 2000 the sons Robin and Charlie Cockrell took over, and established the Flooring Division in order to broaden scopes beyond the Food and Beverage Industry which includes:
• Industrial and Commercial flooring.
• Shot Blasting and application of FDA approved coatings to mild steel & concrete tanks.
• Decorative flooring.
• Installation of manholes, valves, gauge c***s and various fittings.
• Polished concrete.
• Corrosion protection.
• Drain installations.
• Granolithic screeds. With our primary focus and expertise in specialized technical coatings, we rebranded as Specotech Industrial Flooring (Pty) Ltd. We currently have a level 3 BEE (Black Economic Empowerment) Status and are pursuing opportunities in the construction and Government sectors. Social responsibility is an internal policy that has become imbedded within Specialized Coating Technologies and we are constantly looking for new ways to give back to the community. We are registered applicators for various construction chemical manufacturers, and as a result have intensified our policies and procedures with regards to batching of materials, quality of workmanship and programming of contracts. We are continuously striving to assist our clients by giving them the best advice and most suitable solutions to their needs.
