Rhevan van As from EffectivePT talking at the Property.co.za training this week about "Making a Difference". Here is the two points we spoke about and what we believe you need to focus on when you want to start making a difference in this world.

1.) Having a Heart for People

- Start looking past the physical or outside (race, gender, religion etc) and start looking at the heart, desires and needs of people.

2.) Discover your Gift

- Develop your Gift and let your light shine in this world!
- Your one light can make a difference in this world! It only takes ONE candle to light a thousand, it only takes one person to stand for what is right!
- Develop your Gift, AND THROUGH YOUR GIFT you will change this world!

What a blessing to be able to empower people in this way! Glory to God!

EffectivePT had the privilege of talking at the Weekend of Warriors training camp this weekend. What a privilege and honor it was to see a dream becoming a reality for Rudi Wilcocks! Well done champion this is just the beginning!! Here is a few points we spoke about:

Focus and Diligence

• Diligence = A persistent and hard working effort in doing something.
• Work hard but work smart at the same time. It's better to cut down a tree with a chainsaw than a hammer. Find the most effective way to get to your goal.

• True meaning of Diligence:
Diligence is a learnable skill that combines creative persistence, a smart working effort rightly planned and rightly performed in a timely, efficient and effective manner to attain a result that is pure and of the highest quality and excellence.

• Steps for being Diligent
1. Wake up to reality
2. Define your vision
3. Effectively partner
4. Pursue Wisdom; Build your life upon it.

• Focus is the centre of interest or activity.
• Where focus goes energy flows.
• What are you focussing on?
• Why are you doing what your doing?
• What is the end product that you see from all of your effort that you put in?
• Visualize yourself at that point, see it, feel the emotions of being at that point and write it down and see it everyday.
• Activate belief by seeing it DAILY!
