Today marks an important step in Advanced Air Mobility.
Kyleworth Aero has entered into an agreement with Weatherly Aircraft to explore the development and manufacturing of a new class of autonomous aircraft(Avia U3): a super-heavy-lift platform derived from our eVTOL architecture. This is set to be a roadmap to retire risk of the Avia-E6 (full-scale) passenger platform.
We’ve reached the ceiling of what conventional designs can do. Payload constraints, noise, and efficiency trade-offs have long defined the limit of autonomous logistics.
Our goal is to develop a super-heavy-lift aircraft that combines the characteristics of advanced eVTOL systems of the Avia-E6 platform, that includes quiet operations, energy efficiency, robust redundancy, and payload capabilities of up to 700 lbs.
Our 0.4-scale model has already validated the aerodynamic principles behind the platform. The next phase is industrialization, autonomy, and operational deployment.
By combining Kyleworth’s electric aircraft technology with Weatherly’s 65 years of industry, FAA-certification, deep manufacturing pedigree, and planned U.S. production capabilities, we are building the backbone to strengthen America's domestic aerospace manufacturing and support industrial, logistics, and defense applications.
This collaboration is about more than building an aircraft.
It is about:
• Expanding U.S. domestic manufacturing capability.
• Advancing American leadership in autonomous aviation.
• Creating operational heavy-lift aircraft built in the United States.
• Accelerating real-world flight operations and autonomy.
• Accumulating flight hours that help de-risk the Avia-E6 larger passenger aircraft.
The next era of aviation will be built in factories, proven through operations, and scaled through collaborations.
