The Leap of Faith: From the Floor to the Future
For 25 years, the hospitality industry wasn't just my career—it was my life.
As a General Manager and Operations Manager, I didn't just "run" restaurants; I lived in them. My family grew up knowing the industry through my long hours and the empty chair at the dinner table. They understood the demands, the pace, and the sacrifices that come with keeping a business thriving.
I was the "everything" person:The Strategist: Managing HR, payroll, and complex operations.The Storyteller: Building brands through social media and marketing.The Connector: Forging deep bonds with suppliers and corporate clients.The Creator: Turning quiet nights into sold-out wine festivals, corporate functions, and celebrations.
I loved the adrenaline of planning an event, booking the entertainment, and seeing the decor come to life. But I also knew something had to change. I realized that the same passion I poured into someone else’s business could be used to build my own—and finally reclaim the family time I had sacrificed for so long.
Taking the Leap
I decided to take a leap of faith. I took every lesson, every late night, and every creative idea I’d ever had and founded Studio de Swardt.
Today, I am not just an entrepreneur; I am your Creative Restaurant Partner. I help restaurant owners who are exactly where I used to be—juggling too many hats and looking for ways to grow.
My Mission is Simple:
