_SIGNPOSTsound_ A team of producers specializing in music composition and sound design consisting of: Andre Pienaar

Based in Cape Town, Signpost Sound is a music composition and sound production team consisting of Regardt Nel and Andre Pienaar. With backgrounds in sound engineering and other personal music endeavours, the pair met when forming Ashtray Electric, a Cape Town based band in which each stepped into leading songwriting roles. The band has had 3 years of success including an MK award in 2009 and nume

rous singles off the debut album “Bonjour’ going to number 1 positions across the country. Through the cross pollination of industries, the pair were introduced to the film industry where they took on a project to compose score for an adventure documentary. Thoroughly enjoying the project and realizing a knack to evoke specific emotion in imagery through music, the two decided to expand and to create Signpost Sound, which would serve as a platform to compose music for advertisements and film.
