VINE is looking for a Marketing & Communications Assistant/Intern.

The ideal candidate is someone with the capacity to work part-time with flexible hours. Ideally, someone who will, over time, grow their role as the business continues to grow. Perhaps a student wanting to cut their teeth in the industry or someone with a passion for marketing and communications, looking for parttime work.

Approximately 5 – 10 hours per week.

Must be enthusiastic/passionate, have a keen attention to detail, be willing to push for excellence, be willing to learn new skills, be self-motivated, have the ability to adapt and grow, be a fast learner and have own laptop and be able to work remotely.

Basic skills needed:
Excel
PowerPoint
Word
Facebook
Instagram
LinkedIn
Facebook Business Manager
Project Management
Strong Interpersonal Skills
Strong Copywriting Skills
Google Ads – not a must but would be helpful
Photoshop – not a must but would be helpful
Lightroom – not a must but would be helpful
Final Cut Pro – not a must but would be helpful


Tasks included but not limited too:

Content Creation
Copywriting
Community Management
Influencer Management
PR
Reporting
Campaign Management
Basic Marketing, Brand and Communications related tasks
Graphic design – not compulsory but would make you a stronger candidate

This is a rapidly changing industry. If you are not constantly learning and upskilling, your knowledge and skills fast become outdated and redundant. As such, any candidate applying to work with us would need to have enough enthusiasm and drive to keep their knowledge up-to-date and be a quick enough learner to adapt and learn new skills as needed.

|| Let’s be the rainbow of hope 🌈 ||
We are facing interesting times but that doesn’t mean we should give up on our hope. It means that it’s time to stand together to face this challenge as a community and to change our perspectives. So let’s chat about how to do this!
~ Firstly, is there a way that you can adapt your services or product offering to better suit the current state of being while still remaining sustainable financially?
~ Instead of ending contracts with suppliers why not look at ways to alter them so that both parties can work through things together.
~ Communicate with you customers and communities about how you are adapting to this new environment we find ourselves in.
~ Brainstorm ways too make your clients’ experience as appropriate to our situation as possible - through all steps of the purchasing funnel.
~ Relook all your marketing messaging and remove any that might seem inappropriate based on the current situation.
~ If you have capacity for community service there’s never been a better time. We all have something valuable to give. Find ways to give back.
~ Even in the darkest of days there is opportunity for those with enough hope today see it.
~ If your current services or product offering is directly affected by the restrictions imposed why not find a way of adapting your offering or leveraging your asset base to provide an income for yourself and your employees. Get those creative juices flowing!!
