The Bank

The Bank The Bank provides a space for the hosting of an array of selected projects and events, exhibitions, seminars and workshops.

A fun play on the building’s past, this sturdy piece of pre 1950’s architecture, including a rather impressive vault deep in its foundations, was a First National Bank branch until it closed its doors in 2005. Today, this bank has been given a second lease on life, and rebranded accordingly, but with creativity as its commodity, not South African Rands. The Bank currently rents out to:

The Indie Karoo Film Festival seeks to create a platform for those independent filmmakers and storytellers producing cutting-edge feature, documentary, experimental and short films by introducing audiences to some of South Africa's most exciting emerging talents.

The 3-day festival will also be showcasing the work of industry legends, while offering once-in-a-lifetime workshops, exhibitions, and Q&A sessions with some of our most inspirational filmmakers.

Taking place in Prince Albert from the 3rd to the 5th of July, the first ever Indie Karoo Film Festival will not only give you a chance to discover South Africa's newest talent, but will also place you within easy reach of experiencing the unique landscapes and people of the Karoo.

We are now accepting entries for inclusion in the Indie Karoo Film Festival (IKFF) Please follow the link for submission
