WHO WE ARE

Charlson Import Agencies was formed in 1997 as an importer and distributor of pumps and accessories from a variety of Italian manufacturers. Two of the founding shareholders, Mike Di Bona and Julian van der Westhuizen, are still active as Directors. Charlson Import Agencies grew its brand by being the sole importer of Vertix Pumps in South Africa.

We aim to be a leading player in the industry providing the best in class fluid management solutions to individual and institutional customers and societies in our chosen markets. We achieve this through our dedicated efforts to enhance the welfare of all our stakeholders and living by our values of commitment, reliability and innovation.

We pride ourselves on being an exclusive importer to the South African market; such brands as Vertix pumps, Rover Pompe and Tellarini Pompe. We go all out for our clients to ensure that they get the highest quality product that competes with international standards.

Jason Di Bona joined Charlson in 2014 after qualifying as a mechanical engineer from Stellenbosch University. In 2016 he was instrumental in obtaining ASIB listing as a fire pump and panel supplier and the fire pump side of Charlson began.
