Montenegro had been on my list for years and after two weeks here, one thing is clear: you don’t “complete” this country in a single trip.

From coastal villages to mountain landscapes, it consistently overdelivers, especially if you’re balancing travel with remote work.

Grateful to be part of the STAR Residency Program, focused on remote work, rural tourism, and exploring beyond the obvious.

After 27 years working in travel and tourism marketing, I’ve just had a proper “wow” moment.

Last week at Nomad Fest Creator Edition by in Bangkok, I ticked off something pretty special, as Asia is now officially on my list of continents where I’ve worked.

Since 1998, I’ve helped create events across Africa, Europe and South America, and I’m genuinely proud to now add Asia to that journey.

Anyone who’s worked on events knows they’re never a one-person job. The biggest lesson I’ve learned over the years? You can’t do it alone; you need a great partner in crime.
