The MCAMP (Pty) Ltd is incorporated as a private company with limited liabilities, as defined in the companies Act, 2008, and as amended thereof. It has two (2) Directors; two (2) incorporators and one (1) member, in total, three people. yelitsha, being the second largest township in the country, we have no pizza stores from the reputable pizza outlets. This is astonishing considering how the pizza industry has been growing over the past seven years. The reason could be that Khayelitsha is considered a high risk place to do business, mostly because of the reported crime rate in the community. Most people love pizza and are therefore compelled to travel to the nearest towns to buy the craved for pizza. The amount it cost to travel to the nearest pizza place, in Mitchel’s plain, is R20 a return. Imagine now the person wanted to buy a R19.90 pizza at Debonairs, it would have now cost him R39.90, which is not economically viable. We have also noticed that more African young people from previously disadvantaged background drop out of school even before grade 12, they then add to the current problem that we are experiencing in community, which crime. We are cognizant of the community’s high crime rate and substance abuse that threatens the survival of our youth and that of the whole community. We believe that youth employment is the answer to our national problem. Research from Stats SA show that South Africa has high increasing unemployment rate, particularly youth unemployment, hence the gradually decreasing economy. MCAMP is sure to provide the youth with sustainable income and will enhance their chances of employment by providing them with relevant work experience i.e. in management; finance and business, including marketing and general skills in the field of work.
