Since 1996, PowerLightsAugsburg has been shining in the world of event technology. Matthias Lohr, the company’s owner, chose a career in this field at a young age. His passion for technology and events led to the transformation of a small rental business into a professional enterprise. Today Power Lights Augsburg is active in various areas of event technology, including industrial events, trade fairs, and special effects. Notably, under the brand aqua-in-motion.com, the company impresses worldwide with stunning water fountain and multimedia shows.

Matthias’ appreciation of the ADJ brand was discovered years ago at the Prolight+Sound trade show. Initially he invested in 32 HEX Panel IP LED-powered wash fixtures, which have now served his company reliably for five years. Then, in 2023, a need for IP-rated moving heads arose, and a shoot-out was arranged with devices from various manufacturers. The Hydro Profile proved to be a clear winner due to its output, feature set, workmanship and quality. Simple and clear communication with ADJ was also valued by Matthias, leading to his most recent investment in ADJ’s Focus Flex L19 and Focus Flex L7 fixtures.

SA based production company adds new toys to their inventory and puts them to work right away!

24 of ‘s versatile Jolt Panel FX LED wash / strobe / blinder fixtures were used to set the stage for German pop/rock band ‘s long-awaited tour of South Africa. Promoting their new album, ‘Living In A Haze’, the group played Green Point A-Track supported by Canadian alt-pop duo and local indie/folk singer and song-writer .
Milky Chance’s 3-leg South Africa Tour 2024 was promoted by , with managing the Cape Town show.

ULTRA event technical solutions were brought in to supply the staging and technical equipment for the concert, including the Jolt Panel FX fixtures, which were purchased from South African ADJ distributor,
The band’s Lighting Designer, Patrick Rabus from Rabus Lighting who traveled with them from Germany, was attracted to the Jolt Panel FX because of its flexible combination of 800 x 0.3-Watt RGB color mixing SMD LEDs surrounding a central strip of 48 x 5-Watt white SMD LEDs which create a traditional strobe look.
