St. Anthony’s Home requires an experienced Enrolled Nurse who has a passion for Nursing. To provide high standard of patient care within the Enrolled Nurse’s Scope of Practice and to apply our Core Values in their daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• To execute (medical and administrative) duties and functions with proficiency.
• The preferred candidate must provide nursing care duties under direct or indirect supervision.
• To perform multi-tasks, which are mainly well defined by the Senior staff members.
• To solve problems by referring to standards instructions or procedures.
• The preferred candidate must practice patient’s rights and responsibilities and the standards set by the governing bodies (Department of Health and Social development).
• To render elementary assistance to medical and nursing professionals.
• Assist with (in-service) training of permanent staff and students.
Key Requirements:
• Senior certificate (Grade 12) is essential.
• Proof of registration at South African Nursing Council
• Good communication (English, Afrikaans and/or 3rd language-read, write, speak) with problem solving skills.
• Basic Nursing knowledge and skills.
• Good ability to execute nursing programmes.
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Practice within Scope of practice is essential.
• Ability to work as a team.
• Ability to work both day and/or night duty, 12 hours shifts
• Salary negotiable
• Position available as soon as possible
