Fantastic achievements for KZN Sailing at last nights KZN Sport Awards

Our very own Precious Nzimande recieved the Administrator of Year Award.

Jackie de Finn the MEC's Award for Lifetime Achievement , and

Vuyisile Jaca recieved the MEC's Black Blazer Award.

Huge congratulations to you all!

SA Sailing is looking for a new social media and marketing coordinator… are you up for the challenge?

Job Description

• Contribute to marketing strategy and creative brainstorm initiatives.
• Identify and propose internal/external ideas and initiatives to help promote general awareness of the company brand and sailing in general.
• Develop and maintain websites, newsletters, emails, social media campaigns.
General website admin (uploads and maintenance on the back end)
• Develop and produce marketing and promotional material and content for the promotion of SA Sailing and sailing in general.
• Assist with the creation of funding and sponsorship proposals.
• Collect and coordinate promotional material both internally and externally.
• Assist with copy writing and proofing where necessary.
• Facilitate and/or coordinate inititatives and projects for the promotion of sailing

🇿🇦2024 Youth Sailing World Championships is here!🇿🇦

Team RSA have all arrived safely in Italy🇮🇹.
The Opening ceremony will take place on Saturday the 13th of July with the mixing of the waters ceremony. Practice racing will take place on Sunday the 14th of July.

Our youth team including Lena & Ingrid Holm, Noah Clulow, Isabella Keytel, Sean Kavanagh, and Max Celliers, are all ready to hit the water and sail their hearts out. Noah and Isabella have been getting some training done through the Emerging Nations Programme, and they will be able to apply what they have learnt from some of the world’s top coaches when the racing begins. Racing is from the 15th till the 19th of July.

🌊We wish the team and their coachs/ team leader Mike Kavanagh and Alistair Keytel the best of luck!🌊
