🌟 Casual Day – Friday 6 September 2024 – Theme "I See You!" 🌟

Join us on Casual Day, celebrated annually on the first Friday in September (this year, Friday 6 September 2024). It's a reminder that we all need to work together to build an inclusive and equitable society where people with disabilities can reach their full potential. While remarkable strides have been made, we must continue to challenge societal exclusion.

In collaboration with the TPSC and SURGE, the TSRC presents to you the “Novice Researcher Awards” which is an undergraduate research competition that aims to serve as a springboard into the world of academic research for inexperienced aspiring researchers. The role of the TPSC in this project, is to recruit postgraduate students who will be willing to avail their time to help and guide their fellow undergraduate students. On behalf of the Division Student Affairs, we would like to congratulate our new Tygerberg Student Representative Council (TSRC) for 2024!

Congratulations to Mbano Sibande, who previously served on the TSRC as the Policy Chairperson for the Executive Committee (pictured right), who was voted in as Chair. The position of SRC Vice Chair is held by Agqama Faku who previously held the portfolio for Student Services (pictured left) for the TSRC.

We wish you all the best for your upcoming term. We are rooting for you all the way.

The Tygerberg Hospital Heritage Day Committee invites all international students to showcase their diverse cultures on the 20th Sept 2023. 🌼
Students have been asked to present the various foods 🍲🍜, traditional attire 🥻👘, flags 🏳️🏳️ and traditions 😊😊.
The planning committee will provide R1500 to purchase the ingredients for those cooking.
