As a fully black woman owned audio production company, Chesa Phoka would like to say well done to all women whose businesses are within male dominated industries. Our interns are also intentionally young black females because we would like to present that opportunity to them as well.

Last but most certainly not least, our third intern.

Name: Nathasha Nosiphiwo Mavityo
Birthdate; 27 December 1992
Occupation: ND: Entrepreneurship, CPUT (3rd year)

Vibrant Nathasha is the first born of three children and Entrepreneurship is not the first qualification that she is studying towards, she previously graduated from the College of Cape Town in NCV Management.

She is an active youth member at the WV Masinda Memorial Congregation and a joined member at Uniting Presbyterian Church in Southern Africa Youth Fellowship. She has been a member for the past 8 years where she was the Arts and Culture Convener and currently the Health and Wellness Convener.

Nathasha describes herself as a shy person with a very strong personality. She is a hard worker and an assertive person always willing to learn. She works well in a team as well as a good listener. In her own words, this young lady says, "I believe that a person’s point of view in a group is very important. My weakness is that I’m too helpful and I cross my limits to helping others some tend to take advantage of my kindness." She is easily irritated by people who waste her time. I don’t like people who waste my time.

Nathasha goes on to say that she is very sensitive but in a working environment she tries to not take things personal. When she has done wrong and is aware that she is wrong, she is quick to apologise and make peace.

A rare quality of humility in deed. With all the aforementioned qualities, here at Chesa Phoka, we have absolutely no doubt that Natasha will shine bright like the diamond she is wherever she goes.

NAME: Sulungeka Somdaka
Birthdate: 13 October 1994
Occupation: ND: Entrepreneurship, CPUT (3rd year)

Sulungeka, a natural leader, is one of our interns here at Chesa Phoka Communications. She is a true example of what they mean when they say, 'dynamites come in small packages'. This dynamite is currently leading one of major projects for 2015 which looks at restoring the dignity of ex- convicts and giving them an opportunity to be economically active after their release.

Sulu/ Ngeka (as she is fondly known) lists her objectives as follows
• To understand my role
• Gain experience
• To use my communication skills in the company

Her strengths are that she is a hard worker, can work under pressure, is willing to take new challenges, is willing to go beyond expectation when it comes to her work and she is able to multi-task.

We can safely agree to the aforementioned for within the two weeks she has been with the company, she has displayed her strengths fully

NAME: Zilingene Sogeyane
Birthdate: 26 Septemebr 1993
Occupation: ND: Entrepreneurship, CPUT (3rd year)
Interests: Music, reading magazines & newspapers and listening to & watching BBC news

Zilingene, affectionately known to her friends as Zili or Ngene describes herself as a person who has big dreams and believes that she will be self employed in years to come. She says that she likes to work with people (team work) rather than on her own and she is very talkative (we can agree to that). Although shy and short tempered, she likes to hang out with friends. A hard worker who is able to adapt to work at hand, Zilingene always wants to experience things that are relevant to education.

The only girl among 5 siblings and the baby of the fam, her short term goal is to see herself complete her BTech in management and her long term goal is to one day run her own company in order to add value to our country's economy and create job opportunities.

In her own words, this beautiful young lady says, "Helping other businesses to grow is my passion and having professional experience based on the business management is my desire."

Zilingene's experience in business is rooted in her being an important part of her uncle's and aunt's business with whom she stays. She goes on to say, "when my uncle is not around, it's business as usual. We do not have to wait for him to return and be physically present in order for anything to happen. It is a family business and the whole family is involved cause we all benefit from it. Through that we also learn and are trained to run our own businesses in the future."

Way to go Ngene... We wish you all the best with everything you venture into. Starting, running and managing your business in a sustainable way is not child's play. We do hope that we can contribute towards your learning to ready you for your empire. We have absolutely no doubt that you can and will achieve that goal.

Chesa Phoka welcomes on board our interns from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. We hope that they will enjoy their time here at Chesa Phoka and that they will learn as much as possible and take forward the lessons learnt here into their businesses or wherever they go to after completing their studies.

Today is Chesa Communications staff profile day. First up is none other than sassy Nokubonga Lubavu (one of our interns), a 3rd year Entrepreneurship student at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

Bonga or Bee (as she is affectionately known by her loved ones) describes herself as being very friendly, nice and decent. She does not appreciate being taken advantage of because of her friendly personality. Bonga thinks that because she is so strict and "decent", it's not always easy for people to do uncool things in her presence.

She plays sport (Netball) and enjoys participating in different types of extra- mural activities too. A natural leader, currently in the position of deputy chairperson of her residence house committee.

Bonga goes on to say that she is a hard worker and follows through with any tasks given to her. She likes and enjoys group work as she sees this as an opportunity to learn from and exchange ideas with other people. She sums up everything by saying that she does not talk too much but is a great listener.
