Some pics from our latest packing project. These moving projects always come with high emotions! Moving is one of the most, if not THE most, stressful life events in life as it's often accompanied by other significant life changes. We try to make things easier and simpler by decluttering before packing so that your new start doesn't get weighed down in your new home.
We separate everything into dumping, recycling, donations, give aways to family and packing for the new home and try to have fun in the process.

You might be wondering what this picture is about. I took it the night before my amputation.

Why share something like that? Because we all face storms. This was one of mine.

I had to lose my leg because it was no lonnger usable (12cm shorter, dropped foot, a knee that didn’t bend and constant pain), yet the thought of losing it kept me stuck. Yes physically, but mostly mentally.

Who would I be without it? I was holding onto something that was already gone.

That’s what we do in life. We hold onto what feels familiar. I call it “Comfort Clutter.” We convince ourselves it serves us. Sometimes it’s ego. Sometimes it’s fear. But more often than not, it’s the very thing keeping us from moving forward. Whatever we feed grows.

We wait. We delay. We hope something outside of us will change. BUT you know how that ends.

I have a simple question for you today: What are you holding onto that is no longer serving you?

Because here’s what I know for sure.

It’s later than you think.

I never get tired of reading these! And I'll never get tired of being a part of transforming the lives of the clients who trust us to help them along the way. The journey is never easy and we have so much to learn along the way but doing it with a lighter load, less inventory to manage will always be the best way to peace.

Do yourself a favour and remove the things not serving you. This without a doubt always makes space for new.

I think that our world has transitioned into a very overstimulated and stressful life just living as a normal human. We have no choice but to declutter in all areas of our life to protect our mental wellbeing. One thing this post excludes is to declutter your DIGITAL space as that is as much of a space than anywhere especially during this era of AI where thoughts and knowledge are constantly being planted into our minds and overwhelming us into stagnation.
