It is about taking full and conscious personal responsibility for creating the legacy that your life,your business, your career, your hobbies leaves, but doing it right NOW! We all leave one whether we are aware of it or not....

A wise CEO leads from the perspective of service not power, knowing that they serve the organisation not their personal needs, fears or desires. This is why the wise CEO not only welcomes feedback and criticism from peers, colleagues and staff, they actively seek it out for the purpose of growth and the good of the organisation.

There are some great checks and balances outlined in this article, though I would add one more. A CEO must have a coach who is external to the organisation and who acts as a sounding board, an accountability process and a growth partner. With that and the guidelines in the article below both CEO and organisation are set up for success.

Leadership styles vary from person to person.

Many leaders are given no formal leadership coaching or training and so default to their "natural" leadership style, one which fits with their personality.

While this can work, it can have disastrous effects when the team requires a different style of leadership in order to function most effectively.

⁉️ As you read this article have these questions in mind...

✅ What kind of leadership style do I naturally use?

And more importantly ...

✅ How is my leadership style contributing to the results in my team (both desirable and undesirable results)?
