Most people in tech think influence comes from being visible.
Posting more. Sharing updates. Talking about what they’re building. But that’s not influence. Real influence is built a bit differently.

It’s built on three things:
Positioning, messaging and visibility.
• Positioning is how you’re understood in the market. If that’s unclear, you blend in.
• Messaging is how you communicate your value. If that’s generic, people don’t engage.
• Visibility is how you show up consistently. If that’s missing, even the best thinking goes unnoticed.

What we see a lot is this. Brands jump straight into content, PR, campaigns. But the foundation isn’t clear.

So, they stay busy. But nothing really moves.

The brands that stand out do the opposite. They get clear on what they stand for. They say it simply. Then they show up consistently.
