The Agreement on the Conservation of Albatrosses and Petrels (ACAP) is now accepting applications for its Small Grants Programme. The programme, now in its sixteenth year, provides support for projects aimed at improving the conservation status of albatrosses and petrels.

Imvelo Blue Environment Consultancy would like to introduce you the new developments within the company. Imvelo Blue through Mr. Sihle Ngcongo the founder came up with an idea of a bird scary line monitoring device and after consulting Dr Nelson Miranda of Argonaut, Dr Miranda manufactured the device now Called Imvelo (bird Scary Line) BSL device. The device was tested onboard the South African registered Pelagic longliner MFV Admiraal de ruiter, a vessel belonging to African tuna traders. The tests have proven that the device is working perfectly. The recent Cape Times article, published on Friday, 04 October 2019 confirms the attention that the device is receiving.
