Four tsotsis sn**ch cash bag from Elim shop owner

Four armed men are being hunted by police after allegedly robbing a 32-year-old supermarket owner of a substantial amount of cash in Elim.

The robbery happened at about 4.40pm on Friday, 2 October as the owner was preparing to close his supermarket.

According to police, the man was carrying a lunch bag containing the cash when the four suspects approached him.

One of the suspects allegedly pulled out a fi***rm and grabbed the bag before the group fled on foot towards the Makhado tarred road.

Police said two of the suspects were wearing orange work suits and full-face masks.

Another suspect was wearing a camouflage army jacket.

A case of armed robbery has been opened at Waterval police station.

Police have launched a manhunt for the suspects, who remain unidentified.
