With more than 15 years experience in commerce, Theresa Parsraman decided to pursue her own accounting practice, and Solutions on Taxation Accounting Payroll (TAP) was born. As a founder member, Theresa set the foundation for a client focused service specializing in accounting and consulting services to small and medium enterprises. Theresa studied at the University of South Africa, completing a D
egree in Accounting Science (BCompt), while, at the same time, resuming her articles at BDO Spencer Steward (Cape Town). Both sectors provided her with a sound accounting and auditing expertise which she relates to her clientele. Her experience extended into property development, where she performed the duties of Financial Controller for an Irish consortium that invested millions in commercial re-development in the central CBD. Being a new company, Theresa played a pivotal role in the developing and implementing of finance, accounting, billing and internal control procedures at the organisation.
