The room feels different. People are dressed up, there's a bit of nervous energy, someone's about to walk up and get recognised in front of their peers. That's a different mood to a Friday afternoon office party.

The companies reaching out now are the ones who'll get the date, the venue, the team they actually want. Wait until November and you're choosing from what's left.
