🚨 𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗧 | 𝗪𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗠𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗖𝗬𝗖𝗟𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗙𝗧 𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗦 𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗛𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗 🚨

Members of the 𝗦𝗝𝗖 𝗧𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗞𝟵 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 received information regarding a 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 that was identified at a local shopping centre.

Our team responded immediately and located the vehicle parked within the centre. Officers maintained 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 until movement was observed.

A short while later, two occupants entered the vehicle and attempted to leave the premises. The team executed a 𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, safely stopping the vehicle and detaining both suspects.

The suspects were handed over to the relevant authorities and arrested in connection with a 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

The SJC K9 Unit swiftly responded to reports of a 𝗵𝗶𝗷𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 moving through the Mfuleni / Blue Downs area after receiving live 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀.

Our members immediately mobilised from Bellville and tactically approached the last known location after tracking agents reported a 𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁 and 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗹 on the vehicle.

Through 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲, 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, and 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸, two suspects found inside the vehicle were successfully detained on scene.
The recovered vehicle was handed over to the recovery agents, while the suspects were transported to the local police station for further investigation and processing.

🚨𝗙𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗘𝗥 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗜𝗡 𝗦𝗨𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗙𝗨𝗟 𝗝𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗧 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡🚨

📍𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝘄 | 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗲𝗸𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗼𝘀 | 𝗞𝗿𝗮𝗮𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗶𝗻

Information was received regarding a 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗿 taken from the Table View area. Immediate investigations were conducted, and after receiving updated information about the possible location of the trailer, a rapid response operation was activated together with 𝗦𝗔𝗣𝗦.

Officers proceeded to the identified address to investigate further. Although the trailer was not initially located at the first property, further investigation together with 𝗞𝗿𝗮𝗮𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗔𝗣𝗦 led officers to another address in Bloekombos where the trailer was believed to be hidden.

On arrival at the second location, the 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱. Although the contents inside the trailer had been removed, the trailer itself was recovered safely and booked in by 𝗞𝗿𝗮𝗮𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗔𝗣𝗦 for further investigation.

A huge thank you to all role players involved, including SAPS members and assistance from the owner that helped lead to the successful recovery. 👏

🚨 𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗔𝗙𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗝𝗖 𝗖𝗖𝗧𝗩 𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗥𝗧 🚨
📍𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 | Cape Town

At approximately 00:47, 𝗦𝗝𝗖 𝗖𝗖𝗧𝗩 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 detected two suspects entering a residential garage while the garage door was open. SJC Armed Response units were immediately dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, the suspects had already fled. Our teams conducted patrols in the surrounding area while further investigation continued through the SJC Control Room.

At approximately 02:27, one of the suspects returned to the area and was spotted again by vigilant 𝗦𝗝𝗖 𝗖𝗖𝗧𝗩 operators. Multiple 𝗦𝗝𝗖 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲 units responded immediately and successfully apprehended the suspect within minutes. 👮‍♂️🔥

Further investigation linked the suspect to a previous break-in at a nearby residence where camping chairs and paperwork had been stolen and hidden nearby.

𝗦𝗔𝗣𝗦 attended the scene, and the suspect was handed over for further investigation and prosecution.
