🚨𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗛𝗘𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗟𝗘𝗡 𝗩𝗘𝗛𝗜𝗖𝗟𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬🚨

📍 Oakdale

Our 𝗦𝗝𝗖 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 was dispatched by our control room to attend to a reported 𝘃𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗳𝘁 incident. Upon arrival our officer immediately liaised with the 𝗻𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 after receiving information about a suspect reportedly fleeing on foot and jumping over walls.🏃

With assistance from the neighbourhood, a pursuit was initiated, resulting in the successful apprehension of the suspect in Van Der Stel Street. The suspect was then taken back to the location where the stolen vehicle was recovered, with the neighbourhood watch standing off there.

𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗔𝗣𝗦 was contacted for assistance. The necessary procedures were followed, and the vehicle owner proceeded to open a case with SAPS.

This incident highlights the importance of a 𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲, effective communication and cooperation between private security personnel, law enforcement and the community. Through coordinated action, the suspect was apprehended and the stolen vehicle recovered.💥

Visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers may all need access throughout the day, but each should follow the property's established entry procedures.

A few things worth checking:
🔹 Are visitors and contractors properly authorised?
🔹 Are entry and exit records maintained?
🔹 Do security personnel know who to contact when access cannot be confirmed?
🔹 Are procedures followed consistently, even during busy periods?

🚨 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞-𝗜𝗡 𝗜𝗡 𝗕𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗩𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗘 | 𝗧𝗪𝗢 𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗦 𝗗𝗘𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗗 🚨

📍 Bellville

SJC Security responded swiftly to multiple alarm activations at a client's property in Bellville following a reported break-in.
Dispatched at approximately 10:16, the responding officer arrived four minutes later and immediately conducted a perimeter inspection. ⚡️

During the initial assessment, an open door to the cafeteria area and an open safety gate were discovered, prompting further investigation.👀
Additional backup was requested to conduct a thorough internal search.

SJC Armed Response Officers subsequently discovered that the computer room had been accessed and left open.

During the inspection, two male suspects were spotted on the premises. Through coordinated action, one suspect was located hiding behind the hall, while the second was found concealed behind a cupboard.
Both suspects were detained while officers awaited the arrival of SAPS.👮

Weapons were also reportedly found in the suspects’ possession. Control was notified immediately, and SAPS was requested to attend the scene.
SAPS arrived and took control of the scene and accepted custody of both suspects.

This incident highlights the importance of rapid alarm response and effective coordination between security personnel and law enforcement.

Our SJC Tactical Reaction Team continues to sharpen its skills through specialised training led by 𝗝𝗖 𝗟𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗵𝘁. 💪

This session focused on 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲-𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹…two critical areas that demand physical control, situational awareness, sound decision-making and the ability to respond under pressure.

Through practical, scenario-based exercises, our team worked on developing new skills, refining existing techniques and strengthening their ability to manage challenging situations in dynamic environments. 🚨

🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞-𝗜𝗡 & 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗟𝗘𝗡 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗬 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗗 🚨

📍𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸

In the early hours of the morning, SJC Security Services responded to a reported 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸-𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗳𝘁 incident in Belmont Park.

SJC Armed Response Officers were dispatched by our Control Room and arrived in the area shortly after the incident was reported. During their response, officers encountered two individuals who were subsequently linked to the reported incident.👀

The individuals were escorted to the affected property, where the client was able to identify property in their possession as items reported stolen from the premises.

𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆:
• Metal-plated gate
• Carpenter’s knife

SAPS was contacted and attended the scene. Following consultation with the client and consideration of existing case information relating to theft from the property, the two individuals were taken into 𝗦𝗔𝗣𝗦 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗱𝘆 in connection with an existing case.⚡️

The recovered property was identified by the client, and the matter was handed over to SAPS for further investigation and legal process.

🚨 𝗡𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗦 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗧🚨

📍Brackenfell

During routine patrol duties, SJC Tactical Officers T3 and T4 observed a motor vehicle matching the description of a vehicle previously identified in connection with 𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀-𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆.👀

The officers followed the vehicle and cornered them in a parking lot in Brackenfell, identifying themselves as 𝗦𝗝𝗖 𝗧𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀.

With SAPS present, permission was given to search the vehicle.
During the search, officers located 𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 concealed underneath the steering wheel area. The substances were found to be 𝗰𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘅 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗹. Further more they found 𝗥𝟭𝟭 𝟰𝟱𝟬 cash laying in the car.

The driver was detained and SAPS members 𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 and transported him to Brackenfell police station for further investigation and processing.

Adele recently shared her thanks to Jacques from SJC Security Services at Haasendal Gables, after her 75-year-old mother’s car stopped near a traffic light.

While some passing motorists became frustrated and shouted at her for being in the way, Jacques stepped in to help.
