You will need to negotiate your way through design, and working drawings, specifying products and services, estimate and compiles budgets, constantly interact with suppliers and manufacturers plus a lot more.

Another balmy, warm day in Accra Ghana and with all the permits in place and H&S protocol taken care of we are moving the steel structure that was demolished last week to a workshop to be re-purposed.
While this task is being completed the new framework will be delivered and erected, this will consist of larger I beam columns and beams.
As we have the crane at our disposal, it will be utilized to move the Terrazzo floor tiles, timber flooring and large shop fitted items to the work are on the 5th floor.

In order to carry the total weight of the ceiling cladding, roof structure and all other elements that will cover the terrace of Copper Restaurant, overlooking Ghana's capital Accra, the exiting steel structure has to be removed and replaced.

Retcorp Projects has this in hand, the new design utilizes 90% of the old structure and all of this can be welded and assembled on site. Next phase is delivery of new components, installation then construction of the roof followed by the ceiling and then the Terrazzo floor tiles.

We are proud to have been selected to manage the project management (internal / interiors) of an exciting new venture in Accra, Ghana.

Copper is an elegant restaurant boasting fine dining Ghanaian food and was designed by Artichoke interiors of Cape Town. Taking up the entire top floor of the Rhombus, a development by Primrose Properties, this restaurant boasts breathtaking views over the capital city, beautifully designed décor and signature dishes created by Executive Chef Ruby. For all structural matters we are collaborating with ADK consortium: Engineers, architect and surveyors.

Mark Ossendryver of Retcorp Projects is currently in Ghana on site, managing the initial planning and coordinating the program of works.
