Why is it so frustrating to work with Services SETA?
For more than a month, Ive tried to get assistance regarding discretionary grant funding. I made numerous calls, sent multiple emails, tried all available contact numbers, and i received no response, i even visited the Cape Town office in person.
When I arrived at the Cape Town office, there were no Services SETA staff there the whole office was empty, only two security personnel there. All i can say is that i would really like to work for services SETA you dont have to work, dont have to go to work,dont need to do anything , no accoutability no consequesnces but you get paid.Best job ever.
Jokes aside this is actually deeply concerning. Services SETA plays a critical role in skills development, training provider support, and discretionary grant funding in South Africa. Yet stakeholders who are trying to access information and comply with the correct processes are unable to reach anyone.
Training providers and development organisations cannot contribute meaningfully to job creation and skills development if the institutions responsible for supporting the sector are unreachable.
Stakeholders deserve better communication, proper support, and accountability. NB! I also sent through a formal complaint hoping that it would be escalated to someone but guest what i got no respose from the customer care department either .Surprise surprise.
