Job Description:

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with our team of HR consultants on various client projects
Assist in conducting job analyses, preparing job descriptions, and assisting in recruitment efforts
Support in HR research and analysis, including market trends and best practices
Help in developing HR policies, procedures, and documentation
Participate in client meetings and contribute to HR solutions
Provide administrative support to the HR consulting team as needed
Assist in recruitment administration and processes
Opportunity to learn about different aspects of HR consulting, including employee relations, training and development, and HR strategy

Qualifications

Pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
Enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic.
Basic understanding of labour legislation

What We Offer:

Hands-on experience in HR consulting within a small, collaborative team.
Mentorship and guidance from experienced HR consultants.

Remuneration will be variable and cannot be guaranteed at any value. The earnings of a Consultant is dependent on how much work is done. We will pay an agreed hourly rate for any work that is done in a calendar month. We are looking for an individual who is open to this and understands that the more work there is and the harder we work, the better we earn.

Job Purpose:
PWS (Turn-Key Property Development Solutions) is a dynamic and fast-growing property development and construction project management company overseeing and planning work for clients in the commercial, residential and agricultural development spaces in South Africa and in Africa. The business is looking for a driven, positive, detail orientated and service-orientated professional to join the existing team. The successful candidate will be required to apply a mix of skills and approaches to successfully handle administrative, financial and bookkeeping, coordinating and planning of tasks required for the effective productive operations of the business.

Job Information:
Location: Strand, Western Cape
Industry: Property Development
Position Type: Full-time, 1 Year fixed term contract with a probationary period of 3 months
Salary range: market and skill related between the range of R14 000 to R18 000 per month
Qualification: A tertiary qualification in bookkeeping, accounting and/or administration will be advantageous, as will a qualification or certification in entry level quantity surveying.

Key responsibilities:
The duties and tasks of this role will include;
1. Overall management of the administration and invoice systems.
2. Manage the tender process from creation and drafting to follow up and record keeping
3. Administration of the full Contracting process.
4. Manage invoices from vendors:
5. Keeping of all photo records.
6. Construction site hand over process including the management of the snag list and coordination of certificates of compliance.
7. Management of the BOUCO quote process.
8. General administration functions including the management of emails and keep records, follow up with potential clients after proposal and quote issued, attention to invoices form contractors and suppliers and to clients and the keeping of minutes from site meetings, and any other related task or errand.
Experience, Job Requirements and skills:
1. Previous related administrative, accounting/bookkeeping experience in the construction industry.
2. Previous quantity surveying experience will be advantageous.
3. Highly literate to ensure clear communication, both verbally and written.
4. Time management skills – ability to effectively manage within tight time frames.
5. Analytical decision - making skills.
6. Working knowledge of statutory compliance required within scope of job responsibility.
7. Proactive approach with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to take appropriate initiative.
8. Interpersonal skills and developed service orientated mindset.
9. Highly skilled and fully knowledgeable with MS Office, Google sheets and online drives.
