It was a big day in Cape Town as the Ocean Live Park event village was opened at V&A Waterfront!

City of Cape Town Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis, David Green (CEO of V&A Waterfront), along with our CEO Bruce Parker-Forsyth have officially welcomed The Ocean Race and made its 14th edition one to remember.

It’s official - the Cape Town E-Prix has been confirmed! The inaugural race will be held in Cape Town on 25 February for round 5 of Season 9 🇿🇦

LCSE is extremely proud to be delivering an event of this calibre to the South African public. Plans are well underway for us to host the maiden race here, and we are working closely alongside the City of Cape Town and Formula E Operations delivery teams to deliver a prestigious, world-class spectacle of motor racing like never seen before in our City.

Our CEO Bruce Parker-Forsyth travelled to Alicante Spain alongside the team from the V&A Waterfront and travel partners Pure-Travel last week to present the Cape Town Stopover at The Ocean Race 2022/23 stakeholder conference.

Planning is in full swing and we cannot wait to bring this historic race to the shores of Cape Town once again.

We hosted another successful sold-out Pick n Pay Wine & Food Festival at the Mall of Africa, Waterfall Park, on Saturday, 2 July.

Over 20 wine and bubbly brands were sampled, delicious food was offered, and local artists Courus, Will Rayz, Jamie-Lee Sexton, and Pilani Bubu entertained guests into the early evening.
