2. What do you do at TCA?
Lead a team of talented and diverse student consultants. Acquire new projects and corporate partnerships. Interact with our international advisory board and TCA network

3. What is your guilty pleasure?
I enjoy eating too much pasta then finding a little more room for dessert.

4. What's your favorite conspiracy theory?
Simulation theory: Are we all living in a simulation.
What if one day we create a hyper-realistic simulation, and then that simulation creates a simulation and so on. The odds we are not simulated are 1 : potentially billions

McKinsey University is here!

McKinsey University is a 4 part workshop aimed at gearing students for the corporate environment. During the workshop the following will be covered
- strategies for effective communication
- a 7 step approach to problem solving
- combining quantitative and qualitative analysis
- planning out the path to the answer

The trainings are fun, interactive and geared at helping students to be their best.

Students will be expected to attend all 4 workshops in order to graduate and obtain their certification.
Some of the workshops will be virtual and some are in person dependant on the Covid situation.

Meet Anesu Chigwida the Director of Corporate Relations.
She is a student at The University of Cape Town, Studying a Business Science Degree in finance with accounting. “I am in my 3rd year of studies. I have been a member of the Consulting Academy for 2 years now. Having grown and learnt so much about management consulting and been able to make so many connections. It’s been a great way to learn skills I don’t gain from my degree.”

Meet Nandipa Mponda.
Nandi is the HR director of TCA Cape Town.
Nandi is a third year MB,ChB student at Stellenbosch University.
She is a part of the second generation of TCA Cape Town and joined in 2018. “I've always been interested in business and was looking for opportunities to expand my skill set when I found out about TCA. It's been incredibly rewarding being a member because I have been able to explore concepts that aren't taught in my degree, understand the processes involved in running a small business and get to interact with like minded individuals.”

Meet Rumbi Nyamuda.
Rumbi is the Quality management director of TCA for 2020.

She is in her final Year Bcom Accounting and she Joined TCA in 2019. “I was looking for something that would help me build on my soft skills, something that studying alone doesn't really offer me as well as learn more about the inner workings of management consulting.”
