About Us
What does the WC CoLab offer with respect to mobile apps development and its appropriation? The WC CoLab offers a virtual and physical space for:
• aspiring and experienced mobile apps developers ,
• idea generators (social innovators) who would like to collaborate to design, apply and appropriate mobile apps to address local challenge
• researchers who would like to explore the research

potential of the world of mobile apps


Where is it located? On the UWC campus in the Goldfields Building, opposite the Economic and Management Sciences building


What Initiatives are currently happening? The CoLab currently facilitating two “initiatives” in collaboration with all the stakeholders:
• MAD for learners (see MAD)
• CodeJam 2013
• Mobile apps development training for Blackberry, Android and iOS (soon to be extended to other platforms)


When is the CoLab open? To work in the physical space you need to register as CoLaber (info@ ) and/or participate in the Initiatives. Material will be made available on registration
Full-day coaching and mentoring available on Thursdays and Fridays (for starters). More options can be provided on request
