The Farmhouse @ The Yard in Gordons Bay offers a charming and comfortable retreat with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, accommodating up to six guests.

The main bedroom features a private en-suite bathroom.
The other two bedrooms share a bathroom.
Beds can be arranged as either king-size or twin beds, depending on your preference.

This beautifully restored farmhouse boasts a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing home-cooked meals. The cozy sitting room/lounge area includes a fireplace and opens onto a spacious patio with a braai (barbecue) area, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors.

For those traveling with pets, the Farmhouse is fully fenced for a safe, pet-friendly stay. The 1-meter-high fence makes it best suited for small to medium-sized dogs.

Guests will also enjoy secure parking under a carport behind locked gates, ensuring peace of mind throughout their stay.

For over twenty years, our big Eurogas stove in The Farmhouse at The Yard has faithfully baked cakes, rusks, and delicious meals for us. Now it is giving joy to our guests who love cooking.

For the last few years, the stove k***s have looked really terrible. I do not know why it took me so long to replace them…

BITS Yard in Gordons Bay is a quaint 2-sleeper unit (room only) featuring an en-suite bathroom, making it an ideal getaway for couples or solo travelers.

Originally a workshop, this unique space—aptly named Bed In The Shed (BITS)—has been thoughtfully converted into a cozy, stylish retreat. The fusion of rustic charm and modern amenities creates a welcoming atmosphere, seamlessly blending with the farm-style elegance that defines the property.

Designed to resemble a tiny home, BITS offers a private, peaceful escape with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The unit includes a double bed, a kettle with a tea/coffee tray, a fridge, a microwave, and basic crockery. There’s also an induction stove platefor guests who enjoy preparing their own meals.

To enhance the tranquility of your stay, we’ve kept the unit TV-free, encouraging you to disconnect and enjoy the serene atmosphere. However, free Wi-Fi is available if you wish to stay connected.
The outdoor braai area is perfect for enjoying the fresh air and embracing the relaxed, (almost) rural lifestyle.

The unit is fully enclosed, making it pet-friendly, and there is secure parking right next to the unit within The Yard, ensuring peace of mind during your stay.

The Vine @ The Yard in Gordons Bay offers comfortable accommodation for 2 adults, featuring 1 Kingsize or 2 Single Beds and an open plan en-suite bathroom.

The unit is well-equipped with a fridge, toaster, microwave, and basic crockery and cutlery. A kettle and coffee/tea tray are also provided. An induction stove plate with a pan and a few pots has been recently added, enabling guests to prepare tasty meals.

Located at the front of the house, the unit features a lovely stoep for relaxation. Secure parking is available adjacent to the unit, within The Yard. In order to maintain a peaceful atmosphere, TVs are not provided, however, FREE Wi-Fi is available.

The unit is also fenced in and pet-friendly.
