In 2013 I started the company Applicable Co-Creations with a dream to locally manufacture beautiful high quality leather hand bags, belts, and accessories. This means a dry twig. You might wonder why I named my company after a dry twig... however it resonates with me because of a very special meaning. As a child my granny taught me to count using dry twigs. She told me if you start counting and kn

ow how to count, the sky is the limit. The business emanated from a long standing passion of creativity particularly inspired by the love of nature and originality of timeless pieces made by the African inhabitants. We grew up around animals which we valued for a number of reasons. Other than using the meat products for food the other products like hide and horns were used as mats, blankets for all occasions, horns and hooves for ornaments and music instruments. Ownership of more animals was a sign of wealth just like today owning a leather bag or ornament gives lasting satisfaction and is a sign of great appreciation of tasteful style. The work of the company is underpinned by the firm belief that even in the 21st century, craftsmanship counts, that is why the crafters take pleasure in designing custom made products with lasting sentimental value for individuals. Luthii products are manufactured in the Western Cape and retailed across the country. We supply to boutiques, businesses and sell to individuals. The leathers are amongst the finest Southern Africa has to offer. We take pride in every item we produce and sell. Quality and timeless style is our main focus and we stand behind our craftsmanship.
