Great forward thinking from the Deo Solar team on their latest project in Tanzania!

With two containerised Sigenergy systems destined for a gold mine’s crusher plant and power house, the team recognised the potential logistical and technical challenges of installing in a region where specialised resources may be less accessible.

Rather than addressing these challenges on site, DEO Solar took the initiative to assemble and pre-commission both systems here in South Africa, helping ensure a smoother installation process once they reach Tanzania.

The systems include:

• System 1: 1.2MW AC | 1.3MWh | 2.4MW Gateway
• System 2: 900kW AC | 1.1MWh | 2MW Gateway

A well-deserved acknowledgement to DEO Solar for their foresight and preparation, and to Yugi for the pre-commissioning work.

One of our SIAAC engineers will be joining the team in Tanzania for the full installation. Looking forward to seeing the next phase come together!

40 Homes. One Community. A Legacy of Lasting Impact.

On 9 October 2026, the N/a’an ku sê Foundation officially inaugurated the Ju/’hoansi Eco-Village in Epukiro, Namibia, in the presence of the country’s Vice President, Her Excellency Lucia Witbooi.

More than a housing development, the Eco-Village brings together 40 homes, renewable energy, water management, food security and economic opportunities to support a sustainable future for the local San community.

SIAAC Group is proud to have played a part in this remarkable initiative, contributing renewable energy technology and integration support alongside SolarSaver Khomas.

Our involvement was made possible through SolarSaver team, who brought this opportunity to SIAAC. Partnerships like these remind us that the true value of what we do extends far beyond technology. It’s about the people we reach and the difference we can make together.

Sébastien and Isabelle Feit represented SIAAC Group at the inauguration, joining the Foundation, SolarSaver, government representatives and community members in celebrating this milestone.

Our sincere appreciation goes to the N/a’an ku sê Foundation, the Epukiro San Development Committee, SolarSaver Khomas and everyone who contributed to making this vision a reality.

Sneak Peek | 1st Technical Session – Hoedspruit

It’s official! Jean has made his presence known in the scenic heart of South Africa’s unofficial capital of off-grid living!

Our first hands-on technical session covered Sigenergy SigenStor installation and commissioning, Shelly smart switch integration, and SIAAC’s technical support services.

We're excited to welcome Jean Ranwell to the SIAAC team as Technical Engineer for our Hoedspruit branch!

A qualified Red Seal electrician with more than 14 years of experience across electrical contracting, solar and renewable energy, Jean brings extensive experience in solar and electrical installations, site coordination, troubleshooting and commissioning.

When Jean's not solving technical challenges, he's likely outdoors with a fishing rod, around a campfire, or out on a dirt bike.

With over 15 years of experience across electrical automation, process control, instrumentation and project management, Johann brings a strong technical foundation and hands-on industry expertise to the team.

Outside of work, Johann is a passionate motorcyclist. Since joining a Motorcycle Club in 2015, he’s travelled across Southern Africa with his extended biker family, from the DRC to Mozambique and beyond.
