We the Community Police Forum of Manenberg has note with great concern as we watch the Anti Gang Members tasked with breaking the back of gangsterism in the western cape being treated unfairly.

We have gang members with criminal records that is treated innocent until proven guilty. This sensitive matter has not been given the priority it deserves. It seems there is a plot to dismantle the crime fighting efforts. Destroying law and order.

There is a difference in ordering a hit and comitting murder of innocent community members and the succumbing of a murderous gang leader while in the custody of police officers, extracting vital information to prevent the poliferation of illegal firearm arms and ammunition and the planned murders of innocent women and children.

The incident is unfortunate. That a member of the clever kids gang, succumb to intense interrogation.
This very man, a leader of the Clever Kids has been responsible for many brutal gang murders and has been connected with the gang shooting and attack on the judicial premises at the very court which seem to protect gangs interest.

This cannot be justice when communities are bleeding and mothers screaming for justice for their murdered children.
Yet the court deems it fit to treat the men and women in blue like common criminals.

The under world rejoices at the moment as they have always played this psychological game with the Nation.
Is this member not afforded the right innocent until proven guilty.

The South African Police Service Members is not above the law but we deserve to be treated with respect otherwise the country will fall into a gang trap which the gangs has set.
The Manenberg Community Police Forum hereby request that bail be given to this men and women in blue and consider them innocent until proven guilty.
The judiciary dont seem to know how murderous gangs are and tge devastating effect it has on communities in the Western Cape.
