Steve , the Bike Collector 072-929-2198 I have just been picked up by Steve the bike collector. He arrived with a lazy loader , so he can load a bike safely and easily all by himself as the trailer is so low. Steve has over 30 years riding experience, and is very technically minded, having built up his own bike. He says he would never ever lay a bike down on its side ,unless it has no
wheels and /or is a write-off. He says even if the bike is badly damaged, he will still get it to stand up. He says that his last call was at 3 am this morning , when a Honda's owner was too drunk to ride his bike home from the pub , he is apparently a regular. He says with BMW 's the call-outs are generally for batteries, electronics or other bike faults, whereas the Japanese bikes are more often damaged , due to dangerous or drunk riding incidents, especially on week-end nights. The chinese bikes apparently break regularly, all by themselves. He says not all Harley Davidson riders have the indispensable ( for HD riders ) accessory : a trailer , as their bikes are more often on a trailer than on the road . So on Fridays he takes quite a few Harley Davidson bikes to the Harley Davidson shop to be washed, and then freshly cleaned he delivers the bikes back home to their owners too , and the owners have money to pay for all this !!!
