8 SAFETY TIPS SHARED BY PEOPLE WHO’VE BEEN THERE!!!

These aren’t scare stories. These are lessons shared by people who’ve faced close calls and survived. Take a minute. It could matter one day.

1. Trust your instincts. If something feels off, it probably is. You don’t owe politeness when your safety is on the line.

2. Be alert in parking areas. Before getting into your car, check the back seat and surroundings. Lock doors immediately and leave without lingering.

3. If threatened but not restrained, run. Distance and unpredictability increase your chances. Create space and draw attention.

4. Avoid isolated stairwells at night. Use elevators or well-lit, populated routes whenever possible.

5. Don’t get distracted in your car. Sitting in a parked car scrolling or sorting things creates opportunity for someone watching.

6. Be cautious with “help” scenarios. Some attackers rely on sympathy. It’s okay to say no, keep distance, and seek help from authorities instead.

7. If something unusual happens at your home late at night, call for help. Don’t investigate alone. Let professionals handle it.

8. Awareness beats strength. Preparation, observation, and quick decisions matter more than physical power.
