has invested in a grid-tied solar energy solution in line with its drive to reduce carbon
emissions and operate in a more sustainable manner.

IMPOWER PTY LTD and Interland Property Group strike a deal!

In collaboration with Standard Bank Group Renewable Energy Division, IMPOWER and The Interland Property Group will be moving nine of their shopping malls over to solar. With a combined project size of approximately 2MW (mega watt) or the equivalent of 3800 solar panels, Interland Group's aims to have a zero-carbon emission footprint by 2050.

The project is estimated to reduce The Interland Group’s carbon emissions output by approx. 200 000 tons over the next 20 years. Pictured above is our CEO Jay Naidoo and Cape Town-based property developer Eugene Clarke of The Interland Property Group. “We are pleased to be awarded this project. It has allowed us to rollout our Development, Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Operations & Maintenance solutions across multiple properties around S.A through an agreement which allows for economies of scale, ultimately improving the commercial benefits of the project. The name Kaapzicht means Cape View and stems from the wonderful view over Table Mountain. The farm is situated in the Stellenbosch district with a mild climate, cool sea breezes and old, weathered granite soils that allows the production top quality wines.
The farm also has 2 ha of unspoilt land with endangered "fynbos" vegetation and all vintages since 2010 carry the sustainability seal by IPW (Integrated Production of Wine).
Impower Pty Ltd. was brought onboard to provide clean, green low cost energy, furthering Kaapzichts conservation efforts. We are proud to be associated with this renewable energy venture!
