Today we are remembering the Soweto uprising - 1976 June 16, it is because of such bravery that today black-owned companies could have a voice and trade on an equal platform as the minority.
Commemorated today on its 44th year later as Youth Day, an official holiday, it is the day that honors the deaths of hundreds of Soweto schoolchildren, a day that changed the course of the country's history: 16 June 1976.
