Floor space disappears remarkably quickly in a workshop.
One box becomes three. Timber starts leaning against the wall. Someone puts something "there for now", and six months later it has apparently acquired permanent residency.
So, look up.

Walls and vertical space are often badly underused, especially in garages and smaller workshops.
Tall shelving can keep everyday items within reach while moving the things you use less often higher up. Wall storage can clear tools from the workbench. Another level on an existing storage unit can get boxes off the floor.

Your workshop might not be too small.

You've measured twice. Excellent!

Now take five minutes and plan all your cuts before making the first one.

List every length of aluminium square tubing your project needs, then work out how best to divide those measurements across your full lengths.

Otherwise, there's a good chance you'll end the day staring at an offcut that is 30 mm shorter than the next piece you need.

Frustrating. Avoidable. And a rather expensive way to grow your offcut collection.
A cutting list takes a few minutes. And with the help of AI...seconds!

It can save you material, time and a trip back to the store.
