As we wrap up a long year filled with highs, lows and plenty of learning, we’re taking a much-needed break to recharge.

huhsl Cap will be closed for the holidays from 5 December 2025 to 12 January 2026.

huhsl Cap recently delivered branded t-shirts and bucket hats to SIOC-CDT as part of the Save the Children campaign for the upcoming Child Health Awareness Day 2025, which will take place across Limpopo and the Northern Cape.

What made this delivery special is the entrepreneur behind it. This was her first-ever order, and we walked with her through every step, from sourcing suppliers to production to final delivery. 🚨The Silent Pandemic Facing SMEs🚨

Far too many small businesses are falling victim to fake purchase order scams. These fraudsters are getting smarter, and the damage to SMEs can be devastating.

Here are some red flags to watch out for:

Always independently verify a PO with the issuing organisation, especially if it is your first time working with them.

Be cautious of RFQs received via email. In our experience, 99% are scams.

A sudden sense of urgency such as a PO issued today that must be delivered tomorrow.

Promises of cash on delivery (COD). This does not happen with government or large corporates, as internal payment processes must be followed.

At huhsl Cap, we see the impact these scams have on entrepreneurs every day. That is why we urge SMEs: contact us if you are unsure. Even if you do not need funding from us, we will gladly help you verify if a PO is legitimate.
