👨‍🍳 The chef is asking…

Who else is joining us for the State of Leadership Breakfast on Monday, 24 August at the City Lodge Hotel, Waterfall City in Midrand?

We’ll be serving up croissants, coffee, and meaningful conversations about leadership today. No stiff suits, just real talk, real people, and yes—real breakfast. One question we’ll chew on: _*What do modern anti‑immigration sentiments say about the state of our Leadership?*_

Energy follows attention!

One of the key differentiators between successful professional coaches and everyone else, is commitment.
Many new coaches think of coaching as a side hustle they can do while their main hustle pays for the bills, and eventually the side hustle becoming the main hustle.

Unfortunately it's just a fantasy for many. A wise entrepreneur once said you can never make permanent success on temporary attention.
Risk is a critical part of building an impactful and sustainable enterprise, which means one has to make a choice and commit. Committing means you believe that you truly have something to offer.

These are the lessons I learned from my grandmother's magwenya business, that eventually I saw as patterns in many successful businesses, not just in coaching.

AI is changing the workplace. Are you changing with it?

For graduates and young professionals, AI isn't only about learning how to use ChatGPT or another AI tool.

It's about understanding how technology can help you:
Work more efficiently.
Analyse information.
Solve problems.
Communicate better.
Learn faster.
Create new opportunities.
But there's an important question:
What skills will still make you valuable when AI can do more of the routine work?

The future may not belong to people who compete with AI.
It may belong to people who know how to work with it while strengthening the human skills AI cannot easily replace.

What AI skill would you most like to develop?

18/08/2026

What makes a coaching practice successful? What do you need to have in place to build a successful business?
What do you charge?

All these questions and more will be discussed on 21 August at 9am CAT.
