For the past two years, we have incubated, upscaled, and skilled 33 homestays in the Eastern Cape, and today we are proud to see these businesses using the skills and acumen gained from the training, turning them into their organisational functions.

At this year’s Indaba, 3t Business Fusion funded some of these very entrepreneurs, together with the help of the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa through their BQV program, ensuring that five of these businesses secured stalls at their pavilion and opportunities to present and marketed thier offerings.

It is important to mention that these businesses are within Villages, Townships, and Small Dorpies (VTSDs); their scale has improved the visibility of lesser-visited areas, towns, and cities, and this renders the expansion of the entire tourism experience value chain.

We are proud to see this development and vow to support these businesses even post the program, which was initially designed. We need more of such drive.
