REGISTERED OCCUPATIONAL HYGIENE TECHNOLOGIST
The appointed candidate for this permanent role will be situated in Gauteng, tasked with undertaking occupational hygiene surveys and conducting basic risk assessments. These responsibilities will be carried out under the guidance and supervision of a senior Occupational Hygienist.
Qualifications:
•Must have a relevant occupational hygiene qualification – NQF7 or higher tertiary qualification e.g. B.Tech Environmental Health / BSc Environmental Management – Environmental Stream/BSc Occupational Hygiene etc.
Requirements:
•Must have knowledge and experience in performing occupational hygiene surveys which include noise, illumination, hazardous chemical agent exposure, asbestos, ergonomics and IAQ, etc.
•Must be proficient in writing occupational hygiene reports.
•Capable of maintaining professional communication with both clients and colleagues.
•Must be punctual, self-driven and able to work independently.
•Deadline orientated and ability to work under pressure.
•In possession of a valid driving licence and own vehicle.
•Unwavering positive attitude, passion and a professional image in terms of appearance and conduct.
•Must be willing to travel extensively; locally and abroad.
•Must be a South African citizen.
•Must be in possession of a valid passport.
•Must be registered as an Occupational Hygiene Technologist with SAIOH
•Must be in possession of a valid Legal Knowledge certificate.
•At least 2 years working experience in the occupational hygiene consultancy field (minimum requirement).
