Shifting from work-life balance to work-life flexibility.

Everyone has a different workflow based on their priorities. Work-life flexibility has been found to boost employee morale and satisfaction and in turn reduce absenteeism and turnover. Employees can work according to their energy cycles (for me that is 4 am) and also feel as if they have more control. This may however not work for everyone and quite a bit of discipline on the part of the employee is required. What is more important than hours clocked is personal accountability.

We had the privilege of working with ClearlawSA in order to develop a customised psychometric assessment for their PlaceMe programme. Clearlaw stipulated the factors which they deemed to be most important when working within legal positions and the assessment measures comprehension, verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning and learning potential.
