Fire & Security Technician (Ambitious Go-Getter)

The Role:
You will be a SNR Technician and face of our company for our clients, responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repair of a wide range of systems. Your expertise will ensure the safety and security of our clients' people and property at all times.
Your Key Responsibilities:
· Installation, commissioning, servicing, and fault diagnosis on the following systems:
CCTV IP and Analogue
Intruder Alarm Systems
Fire Detection & Fire Sprinkler Systems
Gas Supression Systems
HVAC Systems
Access Control
Electric Fencing
Gate Motors
Garage Motors
Generators
Electrical
· Project Management:
Taking ownership of small to medium installation projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
· Client Relationships:
Providing exceptional customer service, building trust, and becoming their go-to expert.
· Sales Growth:
Proactively identifying opportunities for system upgrades, additional services, or new installations with existing clients and reporting potential leads.
· Completing clear and accurate documentation and certificates for all work undertaken.
What We Need From You (Essential):
· A Driver's Licence.
· Proven, hands-on experience in the Fire & Security industry, specifically with the above mentioned systems as well as any accreditation SAQCC, Wiremans License, Trade test Certificate.
· A genuine ambition to grow and a "can-do", go-getter attitude.
· Experience managing your own workload or small projects.
· The ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
· A keen eye for identifying sales opportunities to help grow the business.
What Will Make You Stand Out (Desirable):
· Formal qualifications (e.g., SAQCC, CCTV/IP qualifications, Wiremans License).
· Direct experience in a customer-facing sales or business development role.
· A proven track record of suggesting and upselling services.
