Dear Mega Careers Candidates
We hope you had a wonderful festive season, we hope and trust in 2022 careers will be elevated and destinies fulfilled.
Here is an update regarding application.
1. The UK government has not added truck drivers on the critical skills list. Talks are still on going with reliable information saying the British Parliament will add the truck driver profession during 2022.
We already have agencies in the UK willing to employ 17000 drivers but the Home office will only issue visas once the profession has been added.
2. USA and Canada Truck driver jobs.
a) There are driving opportunities in Canada and US. The truck driver profession is listed on critical skills in certain provinces and states within Canada and America.
b) Basic Requirements
*CV
*Age 24-50
*Code 14 South African drivers license
*Long distance routes
*bad weather driving
*No accident over past year.
*English test
*Police Clearance
*Medical examination

3. Our Partner agencies in GERMANY require
drivers with :
a) A South African license obtained before 2009 regardless of citizenship as long the license was obtained before 2009.
Example Zimbabwean, Malawian, Zambian citizen who obtained a South African code 14 license before 2009 do qualify.
b) The applicant stated in (3a) must be 45 years of age and below.
c) The posts Germany employers are offering will be for short routes ie: local deliveries reason being that the new foreign driver do not have experience with German routes and major highways. You will be only allowed to use a South African code 14 license for 6 months only.
d) Upon being employed by a German company you will be required to attend 35 hours of classes to obtain a Code 95 German license. This license will also allow you to drive in the European Union (EU) block.
The Code 95 license will allow to drive long distance routes within Germany and Cross border routes in the EU nations.
