From the Cederberg Mountains to the Cape W**emakers Guild Auction.

The 42nd annual Cape W**emakers Guild Auction brings together 58 rare w**es from Guild members, each produced in limited quantities and selected for this prestigious event.

For David Nieuwoudt, his relationship with the Guild spans two decades – and this year brings another opportunity to share a distinctive expression of the Cederberg.

This year, that w**e is Cederberg Black Slate Shiraz 2024, made exclusively for the auction from a 0.5-hectare pocket of Shiraz rooted in black slate soils high in the Cederberg mountains. Just 121 cases were produced, with 40 allocated to the auction.
