STEM & IT BURSARY OPPORTUNITY
The Orange South Africa Trust, in partnership with Siyakha, is inviting eligible South African youth to apply for its 2026/27 STEM & IT Bursary Programme.
The programme supports Black South African citizens aged 18–35 pursuing recognised STEM or IT qualifications.
Who can apply?
• Black South African citizens aged 18–35
• Matric applicants: minimum 70% in Mathematics
• Undergraduate and Postgraduate students pursuing recognised STEM or IT qualifications with satisfactory academic progress
What may be covered?
• Tuition fees
• Registration fees
• Learning materials, software, equipment and data
• Accommodation may be considered subject to funding and individual need
Documents required:
• 500-word letter of motivation
• Certified South African ID
• Matric certificate, where applicable
• Latest tertiary transcript, where applicable
• Proof of registration or admission
• CV
• Proof of financial need
• Parent/guardian payslips and 3 months’ bank statements
